The Wanderlust Campers classic layout on a VW T6 SWB costs $38,000 + GST, a LWB has a supplement of $1000 + GST.

STANDARD INCLUSIONS:

​

ELEVATING ROOF

Gas-assisted low profile, easy lift composite roof. Side elevated for superior height the length of the vehicle. The roof is structurally insulated for warmth and noise reduction. Four large vented windows with insect screens for optimum ventilation.  

​

FRONT CABIN

Swivel seat mechanisms are fitted to the front and passenger seats to allow for social seating layouts. Curtain tracks are built in around the cab and privacy triple weave curtains are installed to allow for optimum privacy. 

 

WINDOWS

Rear windows are supplied and fitted. Blackout paint is used on the window behind the wardrobe area. Curtains are made to measure in a blackout fabric for complete privacy and a restful night's sleep. You can choose your curtain fabric from a selection of colours.

 

TRIM

Foil-backed insulation is fitted throughout the vehicle for optimum insulation and noise reduction. Luxury carpet trim is used throughout and  panel trim that matches the front seat fabric. Vinyl door trim is used in exposed areas.

 

CABINETRY

Made utilising Australian-made Stylelite. 1mm acrylic composite is pressure laminated onto a lightweight ply. This offers superior water and warp resistance, high UV stability and is mould proof. Stylelite is available in a wide selection of colours and you are welcome to choose the colour of your cabinetry, approximately 10 choices are available.

 

KITCHEN

The kitchen features the 80L Dometic CRX Fridge with ice box. A choice of sinks with folding tap. Two full depth sliding drawers with soft close mechanisms and integrated locks. Choice of storage cupboard or microwave space.  Countertop and sliding table will be made in bamboo or matching stylelite, according to your preference. The table is stored behind the drivers seat when not in use. The sliding table rail allows for optimum dining flexibility and for food preparation.

 

WARDROBE

Lightweight curved aluminum construction. Removable sliding doors for full access. Shelving for storage with upstaged edges. 

 

SEATING/SLEEPING

Australian Design Regulations fully compliant and tested bed seat unit. Featuring two approved integrated seat belts. The bed seat unit is manufactured to order and made to match the front seat fabric. On the seating side, the seats are sculptured for optimum travelling comfort and feature integrated headrests. The seats are easily converted to reveal a completely flat and comfortable bed. Underneath the bed seat area is two very large storage drawers with soft-close mechanisms and integrated locks. Alongside these is a small removable storage panel for storing longer items. Child seat anchor points are installed on request. 

 

N.B. A rear seating option for three is a possibility without the wardrobe area, please enquire.

 

FLOORING

We install flooring according to customer preference. Some customers already have VW rubber flooring which they would like to utilise. Some prefer for us to install vinyl or marine-grade carpet.

LIGHTING

Our conversion features 1 reading light and an LED strip light above the kitchen area.

 

POWER 

We import from Europe a superior electrical power management system that features intelligent 300W battery charger, 120W solar regulator, dual charges and a control panel. This system offers low voltage protection and reverse polarity protection. We also supply and fit 120AMP superior grade leisure battery, 15amp mains hook-up, 12V socket and 240v socket. USB sockets are also available. 

 

WATER

We supply a 32 litre fresh water tank and 21 litre grey water tank along with fresh and wastewater drainage hoses. A different tank is fitted to 4motion models. The water level sensors are operated through the electrical management system.

SAFETY 

We include a rear gas locker in our conversion which holds a 4KG gas bottle comfortably. Our conversion also features a 1KG fire extinguisher. 

 

CERTIFICATION

We obtain Queensland electrical safety certification for all our conversions along with LH-11 engineering certification for Queensland. We are also able to obtain NSW certification but this comes at an additional cost. 

 

 

OPTIONAL EXTRAS:

 

Awnings

We recommend fitting a Fiamma F45 roll-out awning with the correct T6 fitting adaptor brackets. We recommend installing a 2.6M awning on a short wheel base T6.1 and a 3M awning on a long wheel base T6.1. Cost for supply and fitting awning and brackets is $2000 + GST.

 

Stovetops

The majority of our customers choose to use portable Weber BBQ’s or portable cooktops outside the vehicle. We are happy to install a cooktop of your chosing, providing it has been certified for use in Australia. We recommend the SMEV and Thetford stoves. We can provide a quotation based on your selection. Please note that if you choose a gas stovetop we will also need to obtain gas certification at an additional cost. 

 

Roof bed

A folding roof bed can be made to order. Our roof bed design will comfortably accommodate two children up to around 10 years of age. A folding roof bed costs $1250 + GST.

 

Colour Matching Roof

We provide our roof, front and rear spoilers in VW Candy White. They are able to be colour matched at a cost of $1000 + GST

 

Solar

We can supply and fit a solar panel that feeds directly into the solar regulator. Cost depending on needs.

 

TV

We can supply a TV point and a range of TV extras, cost dependent on selection.

 

Fans

We can supply a range of fans, cost dependent on selection.

 

Porta Potti

We can supply a Thetford Porta Potti if required, cost dependent on selection.

 

Flyscreens

We can supply flyscreens that we have manufactured specifically to fit the VW sliding and rear doors.
